Everything You Need to Know

Custom Acrylic Magnets

Acrylic magnets turn your artwork, logo, character, photo, or brand design into a glossy custom magnet with a thicker, more dimensional feel than a traditional flexible magnet. They are made like our custom acrylic pins, but with a neodymium magnet attached to the back instead of a pin backing.

Made From Your Artwork

Upload your design and we’ll use it to create a custom acrylic magnet shaped around your artwork. Acrylic magnets are a strong option for logos, mascots, illustrated characters, photos, lettering, fridge magnets, and merch designs where the shape is part of the final piece.

Why Choose Acrylic Magnets?

Choose acrylic magnets when you want something that feels more like a collectible or merch item than a standard printed magnet. Flexible magnets are great for simple promotional use, while acrylic magnets give the design a glossy, dimensional look that feels closer to a custom pin, charm, or small display piece.

Sizes & Custom Shapes

Acrylic magnets can be made in custom shapes up to 4" x 4". Use the proof to review the final size, outside shape, border spacing, and cutline before production.

Custom Acrylic Magnets FAQ

What are acrylic magnets?
Acrylic magnets are custom printed acrylic pieces with a magnet attached to the back. They have a glossy, dimensional look and can be shaped around your artwork.

How are acrylic magnets different from flexible magnets?
Acrylic magnets feel thicker and more collectible, while flexible magnets are thinner and better for simple printed magnet promotions.

Can acrylic magnets be custom shaped?
Yes. Acrylic magnets can be shaped around your logo, character, lettering, photo, or design.

What is the largest acrylic magnet size?
Acrylic magnets can be made up to 4" x 4".

Do acrylic magnets come with a proof?
Yes. The proof lets you review the final size, shape, cutline, and layout before production.

What kind of artwork should I upload?
Upload high-resolution artwork with clean edges and readable details. Keep important text and design elements away from the edge so they do not interfere with the cutline.

Materials & Finishes

Acrylic magnets are made with printed acrylic and finished with a neodymium magnet attached to the back. They give artwork a glossy, dimensional look while keeping the back magnetic for use on compatible metal surfaces.

This product is a better choice than a flexible magnet when you want a thicker acrylic look, crisp custom shape, and a more collectible feel.

Proofing & Color

Your artwork is reviewed before production. The proof shows the final size, shape, and cutline so you can check the layout before your magnets are made.

Most artwork is created in RGB for screens, while print uses CMYK inks. Bright screen colors can shift slightly in print, especially vivid blues, greens, oranges, and purples. For better color control, upload CMYK artwork whenever possible.

RGB vs. CMYK Colors

Most artwork is created in the RGB color space for phones, tablets, and computer monitors. Commercial printers use CMYK inks, so some colors may look different in print than they do on your screen.

Bright, highly saturated colors—especially blues, greens, oranges, and purples—may print slightly darker or less vibrant after being converted from RGB to CMYK.

For the most accurate printed colors, we recommend designing in CMYK whenever possible.

Tip: Your monitor uses light to create color, while printers use ink. Because they reproduce color differently, slight color variation between your screen and the final printed product is normal.

Printed CMYK On Screen RGB

💡 Bright RGB colors may appear less vibrant when converted to CMYK for printing. This is a normal part of the commercial printing process.

How Production Works

After you place your order, your artwork is checked for size, shape, print quality, and cutline setup. If anything needs attention, our team will review it before production begins.

The acrylic piece is produced with your design, then a neodymium magnet is attached to the back so the finished piece is ready for compatible magnetic surfaces.
